Wombridge Parish Church

We look forward to welcoming you to our Sunday services or to any of our events.

We come together every Sunday at 4pm and on the third Sunday of the month for an 11am service.

Please get in touch if you have any questions about the life of the Church, services or events, or if you would like to request prayer - we'd love to hear from you.

Safeguarding

The parish of Wombridge: St Mary & St Leonard is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.  Jacki Hauenstein is our Parish Safeguarding Officer and can be contacted via [email protected] or on 07856213276.

Every day at for 23 hours, 59 mins
Venue
Wombridge Parish Church
Address
Wombridge Road, Wombridge, Telford Telford, TF2 6HT, United Kingdom

'Come Holy Spirit' - this simple, profound prayer is at the heart of Thy Kingdom Come, a worldwide wave of prayer, uniting more than a million Christians, in nearly 90% of countries worldwide, across 85 different denominations and traditions. Thy Kingdom Come is rooted in the practice and experience of the earliest church as they obeyed Jesus' command to wait for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We are invited to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus, praying specifically for five people known to us. We have free prayer booklets in Church to use throughout the period of Ascension to Pentecost: with themes such as The God who loves, The God who gives, The God who listens, The God who challenges and the God who empowers. Please contact us if you would like a booklet or they can be picked up from Church.
