St Nicholas, Bawtry

About our church
St. Nicholas Church welcomes a wide range of people to a variety of services and events. Worship style ranges from Evensong using the 1662 prayer book to Celebrations using modern songs, led by a music group. Children take part in our main morning service before they go to the church hall for “Holy Rollers”, our Sunday school. Once a month there is a family service. Prayer is at the heart of all we do.

Every Tuesday morning there is a coffee fellowship in the church hall, which provides a friendly environment between 10am and 12 noon.

A number of small groups meet regularly, and the Alpha course is run annually. The church is an active member of Bawtry Churches Together, and engages with the community in a number of ways. This year, Hope 08 will be a focus. Each year there is a children’s holiday club in the last week of the summer holidays.

Each year a group attends the New Wine summer conference.

Style of worship: Open Evangelical
