Melsonby: St James the Great, Melsonby

St James'is one of the churches that make up the joint benefice of the Stanwick Group of Churches. Melsonby has 4 bells recently restored and the PCC hopes to get a band started to reintroduce ringing to the parish.

Holy Communion

On the fourth Sunday of the month
Monthly every fourth Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour

Family Service

New Style Family Service with lots of activities for the children. Designed by the young mums of the benefice. Every month, first Sunday.
Every first Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Evensong

The Evensong service rotates around the three parish churches of the benefice. The benefice choir sings at Evensong.
Celebrated in Melsonby in March, June, September and December every second Sunday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour
