Wooburn St Paul Church and St Mary's Church, Wooburn Green

We have two churches
St Paul's Wooburn Town (the Parish Church, in Town Lane)
and
St Mary's Church and Pastoral Centre, Wooburn Green (a modern building, in Glory Mill Lane).

We are Church of England and of a central style of churchmanship, neither ‘high church’ nor ‘happy clappy’. Elements of our services echo some of the timeless elements of Christianity and yet we have as our clear priority making our worship accessible to all of today’s population, through a relaxed, good-humoured and easily-understood style of ‘doing church’ together.

St. Paul’s has a stunningly rich heritage. For over one thousand years, this has been a holy place where people just like you have met with God. All the decorations in this church gently keep worship of the Almighty in focus and inspire proclamations of love for Him. Pause for a moment. Be still. Sense the presence of the Holy Spirit. Feel the echoes of prayers said over the millennia. Come & experience Christ’s blessing.
