St. John the Evangelist, Oxford
The Church of St John the Evangelist is part of the Parish of South with New Hinksey. We stand within the Catholic tradition (High Church) of the Church of England and seek to welcome others into that faith and life. We place emphasis on the scriptures and the tradition of the Church and have a life based around the regular celebration of the Eucharist and the other sacraments. Our mission statement says - We believe in God’s love and generosity to all his people through Jesus, and as his people in this place we hold out our hands in welcome.
