Calcot: St Birinus, Calcot
From October 1st 2008 a new Parish was formed The Parish of Tilehurst - St.Catherine and Calcot St.Birinus. This means that part of the former parish will be combined with the adjoining
parishes of St.Matthew's and St. Michael's.
Moving forward in the spirit of St.Birinus there is "St.Birinus Mission Initiative"in which we are exploring how to be a Christian Community in new ways.
In the spirit of unity and support in the parish the three churches St.Catherine's, Cornwell Community Church and St.Birinus Mission join together regularly to worship as one.

Holy Communion
A Liturgical Communion Service to support our current exploration of Mission in the area. The service includes prayer for Healing and Renewal. We seek to embrace the presence of God in worship, word and sacrament.

Listening For MissionWe are exploring new ways of being church in the community of Calcot.This is a chance to meet together Listening to God, the scriptures, the community and each other in our journey.
We meet in the Calcot Club Highview.

Prayer MeetingA Spirit filled time of prayer, word and testimony.
Alternates between Reading Community Church in Oxford Road and St.Birinus Church Calcot.
Every first Tuesday at 7:30 PM for 1½ hours
Wednesday
York House Communion in the LoungeAn informal Holy Communion Service followed by "Coffee with the King" at 11am - Coffee and prayer for Healing.
