St Mary the Virgin, Pirton

About our church
St Mary's is an ancient village Church which is unusual for its simplicity and lack of stained glass. This was the result of war-time doodle bug which shattered almost all the old glass.
It is set in beautiful surroundings on a loop off the Icknield Way.
We are currently raising funds to provide more space for childrens' activities in an Upper Room above the Vestry, together with a toilet and kitchen facilities. We have no Church Hall.

Built: 1100
Style of worship: Central
Our Patron: Board of Patronage: D & C of Ely (jnt)
