Sale: St Anne, Sale

St Anne's serves the people of Sale and Sale Moor. We are a largish, friendly Anglican Church with a variety of worship styles.

As Christians, we gather for worship every Sunday, seeking to deepen our walk with Christ as we listen to the scriptures and receive grace through the sacraments.

When we leave worship we engage in service for Christ in a wide variety of contexts. There are lots of Church-based activities across all ages on our calendar. However, our prime place of Christian living is in the home and at work.

We have a Church School which draws parents and pupils from across our town.

Morning Prayer

A time of prayer, bible reading and praise to God at the opening of the day
Every day except Friday every Sunday at 7:30 AM for 20 minutes

Holy Communion

A service in traditional language (first Sunday of the Month is Book of Common Prayer)
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour

Parish Communion

Our Main service with sermon. We are a creatively traditional Anglican church with a large choir, servers, and congregational participation. Our Sunday School meets during term time and we have a regular creche for younger children.
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

All Age Communion

This is our regular Second Sunday of the Month service. We welcome into the Body of Christ all whom we have baptised over the previous month
Every second Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour

Baptism

Sometimes called Christenings, the entry into Christian community. If you want to ask about Baptism, we invite you to come to the All Age Communion Service on the Second Sunday of the Month. You will be given an application form on this occasion which we will ask you to bring back to St Anne's on a Wednesday evening between 7.00pm and 8.00pm We do not do baptisms on the Second Sunday of the Month.
Every Sunday at 12:00 PM for ½ hour

Evening Prayer

Our quiet service to round off Sunday. On the first Sunday we use the Book of Common Prayer and the Choir sing a setting of the Canticle in term time. There is a short reflective sermon
Every Sunday at 6:00 PM for 50 minutes

Monday

Every day except Friday every Monday at 7:30 AM for 20 minutes

Tuesday

Morning Prayer
A time of prayer, bible reading and praise to God at the opening of the day
Every day except Friday every Tuesday at 7:30 AM for 20 minutes

Sunbeams
An opportunity for young people and their families to enter into worship and spiritual growth
Weekly in term time every Tuesday at 3:30 PM for 1 hour

Wednesday

Morning Prayer
A time of prayer, bible reading and praise to God at the opening of the day
Every day except Friday every Wednesday at 7:30 AM for 20 minutes

Holy Communion
A short service with sermon; a pause in the middle of a hectic week
Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour

Thursday

Morning Prayer
A time of prayer, bible reading and praise to God at the opening of the day
Every day except Friday every Thursday at 7:30 AM for 20 minutes

Friday

Holy Communion
A short service of worship
Every Friday at 7:15 AM for 25 minutes

Morning Prayer
A time of prayer, bible reading and praise to God at the opening of the day
Every day except Friday every Friday at 7:30 AM for 20 minutes

Saturday

Morning Prayer
