Easton: St Peter, Easton
Easton is an expanding village 6 miles to the west of Norwich adjoining the Royal Norfolk Showground.Within the parish we have St. Peter's Church of England Voluntary Controlled School, Easton College and the offices of the Norwich Diocese at Diocesan House.
The church is at the west end of the village just above the roundabout at the end of the southern bypass on the Colton Rd. It lost its tower in 1786 so looks a lttle strange to those who don't know it.Inside it is very light and on three different levels. A loop sytem has been installed plus microphones. There is a ramp for disabled access at the north door and a toilet and kitchen. There is an enclosed Gallery which can be used during services. Our congregation is very welcoming and members join in the various village organisations and community events.
