Starston: St Margaret, Starston

Starston has several entries in the Domesday book. The church of St. Margaret's dates from circa 1300 although evidence of an earlier building is present. The tower and chancel date to the 15th century and are in the perpendicular style. More historical information can be obtained by visiting our Benefice web site.
St. Margaret's prides itself in the use of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer for its major Sunday services where Sung Matins is particularly popular. Perhaps considering itself 'low church' an 'open table' policy is practiced whereby worshipers of other Christian denominations are welcome to partake of the sacrements.
Our regular Sunday services are shown below but these may vary according to the time or season. Please visit our Benefice web site for full and up-to-date information.
